Niamh Lucey Portfolio - CAD Examples

CAD Examples

For my A2 product design coursework I am making a workbag to fit in a laptop and other files that may want to be carried around. I am looking at current bag trends to create an attractive bag for a formal situation. On this page I have example of cast buckles and zipper tags which I cast myself from pewter after using CAD to create a mould. I also have examples of leather stitching which I had to create in CAD again and send off to the laser cutter to cut out the holes. This is just experimental work but it has given me ideas of how to join the leather of the bag to make it look both professional and aesthetically pleasing to my target market.
